Baltimore Is Our Home.

A social and economic hub of innovation, creativity, and activism

Baltimore thrives because citizens claim its great potential, opportunity, glory, and beauty. Quirkiness, too. And yes, its grit. Fearless Heroes emerge from diverse neighborhoods to disrupt urban ills because they love this city we call home. It helps that Baltimore knows its history: The doers walk in the footprints of fearless giants like Thurgood Marshall, Lillie Carroll Jackson, and Elijah Cummings.

The Original Fearless Five

Fearless Sports backs the doers.

When we say “Fearless Sports backs the doers,” you may wonder just who they are. What do they do?

The doer is that person who sees opportunity in an urban challenge and springs into action. No capes are needed. Some superheroes wear hoodies.

For the doer, social impact is a crusade or calling. Popularity and privilege are not criteria. Impact and results impress and inspire us. Many are mentoring the next generation as they galvanize movements to improve Baltimore.

Our original Fearless Five heroes in Baltimore:

  • Teach city youth to become leaders.
  • Save lives by leading a crusade for nonviolence.
  • Disrupt poverty by connecting neighborhoods to the Internet.
  • Advocate for safety and STEM lessons for dirt bikers.
  • Counsel children who have experienced trauma.

Some may earn headlines, but the extraordinary news is that many fearless doers work outside of the bright light of the media.

At Fearless Sports, we set out to change that dynamic and amplify Baltimore missions for good. Why? We love our headquarters city and want to give back. Let’s inspire more good by uplifting the good work of the doers.

What makes a Fearless Hero?

Build

Innovators are problem-solvers who use their hearts, hands, and heads.

Create

Doers make a way out of no way when they encounter an obstacle.

Achieve

Purpose, not pedestals. Lives bettered, challenges conquered, mountains moved are the receipts.

Inspire

In turbulent times, we all need hope. Doers spark others to get involved.

Social impact

Change the world, one block at a time, one child at a time, one community at a time.

Crusaders

Turn ideas into action, galvanize advocates, build bridges, give fearlessly.
